15 Tips for hitting $100k freelancing on Upwork 

You need to invest in Upwork If you’re looking to create a life-changing freelancing career.

Whilst there are many platforms to freelance on, I honestly believe Upwork is the best there is. By the way, I have zero affiliation with Upwork, this is coming from my personal experience and what I’ve achieved there (almost hitting $300k in just a few years.)

So what are the benefits of Upwork?

Let me share what I’ve found:

• Your income has no limits. You can scale to whatever you want, of course, you have to put in the work!
• You will make more than you would in a 9-5
• You get to pay your bills, mortgage, holidays and more 
• You can work from anywhere that has a wifi connection. I’ve visited 30+ countries in the last 6 years
• You can work with the best brands on the planet. I’ve worked with some incredible brands
• You can team up on projects with some of the most experienced professionals around 
• You can become an expert in any niche you want 
• You can invest in your own projects 
• You can learn key skills to boost your knowledge 
• You of course get to live life on your terms and invest more time with the ones you love 

Sounds dreamy, right?

It is, in a way. 

But I’m an honest guy, and want to tell you that freelancing is not all cash flow and palm trees. 

Freelancing is painful, is hellish starting off, and is never easy. If you want to do well, that is. 

Here’s the thing:

• You will meet difficult clients 
• Expect stress (I give tips in the ebook on what works for me dealing with this)
• You may feel like giving up at times 
• Dealing with tax etc can be a pain in the arse 
• Sometimes working 7 days per week (I do this a lot, but I love what I do)

If you can get through the above, you can make good money and create your perfect freelance lifestyle.

Is Upwork worth it?

I’d like to go over a misconception that I get asked a lot “it’s hard to make money because of cheap services”. 

This is honestly so far from the truth. 

Some of the best brands in the world hire in Upwork. Do you really think they’re just looking for the cheapest work? Let’s be real, they’re definitely not. 

There’s also a flip side to this. You don’t have to live in the UK, US or Canada to make a solid income. I’ve seen and worked with freelancers all over the world that makes good money. 

Focus on your skills and you can achieve anything you want if you put in the work. 

How to make it "work" on Upwork?

Upwork is awesome for beginners and pros.
